TASTE & EXPERIENCE
In the romantic garden of the House of Encosturas, we grow the aromatic herbs and flowers and, in the orchard, the fruits. With such ingredients, we produce the liqueurs that have been awarded consecutively, year after year, in the worldwide competition “Great Taste Awards”. This contest, held annually in the United Kingdom, is considered to be the “Oscars” of the food industry. On a national level, our liqueurs have also been awarded year after year, in the competitions “Qualifica Origin”, that distinguish the best products of Portugal.

Tasting notes
The flavour offers a real burst of orange and the mouthfeel is smooth, fresh and citrusy. Clear, very aromatic, produced without the use of artificial flavorings or colorings. This liqueur tends to accentuate its flavour with age. The entire production process is truly handmade.

Tasting notes
With a bright yellow and crystalline color, in the mouth there is a burst of slightly bitter fresh lemon with a long and lingering aftertaste of freshly picked lemon in the early hours of the morning at the Casa de Encosturas orchard.

Tasting notes
Created with raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, gooseberries and blackberries, this artisanal liqueur is bottled with the natural sweetness of these berries that are blessed by the enormous amount of flavors thanks to the purity of the mountain.
The red fruits that give it life were harvested in the early hours of the morning to preserve all the freshness and natural flavour.

Tasting notes
With a ripe and juicy flavour, it’ s a classic “ginjinha”, with hints of Christmas savour and well balanced sweetness. One can notice a sense of mellowness from ageing, an intriguing tingle on the tongue, as well as an evasive taste of almond. The smell of sour-cherry is remarkable and adorable.

Tasting notes
Minty and with fresh aniseed notes, which are well rounded out in the middle by sweetness and also with adequate lenght of flavours. It has got a smell of the most appealing liquorice, mint and caramel. On the palate there are ‘meatier’ remarks of thyme or sarriette. It will certainly appeal to lovers of herbal liqueurs.

A very robust hit of floral notes on the nose, balanced with the sweetness of the liqueur. The dryness that follows the sweetness confirms the identity of the flower, and we felt it was very romantically elaborated.
